Sinusol Majoran nasal spray solution

Sinusol Majoran nasal spray solution is formulated on the basis of a hypertonic sea salt solution with the addition of ethereal oils of marjoram and basil, N-acetylcysteine and propolis. The solution of sea salt, which is the basis of this nasal spray, is mildly hypertonic (2.3%) and has a very beneficial effect on achieving and maintaining the physiological function of the nasal mucosa, especially when it is swollen and contains secretion that needs to be eliminated from the nose naturally. The synergistic effect of all the components that are part of the product improves the airway passage, eliminates excess secretion and strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect, which is especially important when sinus problems occur, whether it is the case of chronic or acute sinusitis.

  • hypertonic sea salt solution (2.3%)
  • ethereal oil of marjoram
  • ethereal oil of basil
  • N-acetylcysteine
  • propolis

Hypertensive sea salt solution (2.3%) helps decongest the clogged nasal cavities through the natural osmosis mechanism, thus restoring airway passage clearance, proper nasal breathing and alleviating all the symptoms that occur as a result of nasal congestion (burning sensation, itching, coughing, sneezing, pressure and pain in the sinus and ear area, loss of sense of smell, difficulty breathing and sleep disorder). The hypertonic sea salt solution dissolves the ionic bonds in mucous secretion, reduces its viscosity and elasticity, moisturizes the mucosa of the upper airways and helps to rinse impurities, accumulated dirt, allergens and infectious agents.

There are no restrictions on the duration of its application because it does not damage the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and does not cause tolerance.

Marjoram (lat. Origanum majorana) contains about 3% of the ethereal oil rich in flavonoids, polysaccharides and triterpenes that act as antiseptics, antivirals, antispasmodics, and anti-inflammatories. Marjoram has a positive effect on the swollen mucous membrane and, thanks to the antiseptic effect, it eliminates harmful microorganisms that can initiate infection in the upper airway passage, improves the airway passage and has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect.

Basil (lat. Ocimum basilicum) contains a large percentage of ethereal oils whose basic components are linalool and eugenol, which ensure that basil destroys bacteria (bactericidal effect), fungi (fungicidal effect), and viruses (antiviral effect). All this is very important in treating sinusitis, which often leads to infections due to the accumulation of secretion, and basil contributes to the elimination of microorganisms and alleviates the symptoms of sinus inflammation.

N-acetylcysteine (NAC) works by directly dissolving thick mucus and reducing the disulfide bonds of mucoproteins, which facilitates the elimination of secretion from the nasal mucosa and sinus cavities. The elimination of secretion is very important because the accumulated secretion, apart from accelerating the development of bacterial infections, can also cause pain that occurs in the sinus area in acute and / or chronic sinusitis.

Propolis is a natural product that, thanks to its properties, protects against the attacks of various microorganisms. It represents a mixture of over 150 compounds, and the basic compounds are flavonoids, phenols and terpenes. The synergy of these components in the composition has all the positive effects on the human body. These are, above all: antibacterial, antiviral, antimycotic, immunomodulatory, antioxidant and reparative properties.

It is recommended for:

  • sinus problems, and reducing pain and pressure in the sinus area
  • colds and sneezing, and maintaining proper nasal hygiene
  • elimination of bacteria, viruses and fungi from the nose
  • elimination of nasal secretions in a natural way and facilitation of breathing
  • reducing the swelling of the nasal mucous membrane
  • releasing and diluting the secretion in the sinuses
