Resveratrol, a polyphenol predominantly present in grapes and red wine, is considered the cause of the so-called French paradox – the fact that despite a high-fat diet, the French have a lower mortality rate from coronary heart disease than residents of other Western countries. This can be explained by their moderate but regular consumption of red wine, since resveratrol has a cardioprotective and antiproliferative role.

ReAktivQ FORTE capsules contain the trans-isomer form of resveratrol, which has shown the highest biological activity of all.
