Marisol hypertonica nasal spray solution is a hypertonic solution characterized by its unique sea-salt content. The salt concentration in this solution corresponds to the salinity of the sea water. Since the solution is hypertonic, in comparison with physiological fluids of the man it contains more salt. This type of solution, after application to swollen nasal mucosa, quickly and effectively “pulls” i.e. drains the water content, which is the reason why the swelling of mucosa rapidly decreases and breathing is facilitated. Drainage occurs as a result of the osmotic effect of the hypertonic solution. It is intended for people with hindered physiological function of the nasal mucosa. Marisol hypertonic solution rapidly facilitates nasal congestion symptoms, while at the same time there are no restrictions concerning the length of its application, as it does not damage the mucosa of the nasal cavity and tolerance does not occur.
