FERIFOLIK® Forte capsules are an innovative formula for the treatment of anemia and nutritional deficiencies of iron, folate, and vitamin B₁₂.
Ferifolik Forte capsules contain a patented form of endosomal iron (SunActive Fe®) – the only form of iron that is absorbed directly via endocytosis. The combination of endosomal iron, the biologically active form of folic acid, and vitamin B₁₂ in FERIFOLIK® Forte capsules provides optimal nutritional support for healthy blood counts and proper function of all cells.

What does it look like?
→ Iron(III)-pyrophosphate “coated” with microencapsulation into a stable endosomal particle.
How is it absorbed?
→ Directly through endocytosis — the cell “engulfs” the particle as a whole.
→ It does not depend on the DMT1 transporter, which represents the classical absorption pathway for mineral ions.
→ Stable in the acidic environment of the stomach; does not oxidize.

Active ingredients per 1 capsule:
Iron (as iron(III) pyrophosphate – Sunactive Fe-P80 LK®): 30 mg
Folic acid in its biologically active form (calcium-L-methylfolate): 400 µg
Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin): 10 µg
Iron is an essential micronutrient necessary for growth, development, and the normal functioning of cells. As a component of hemoglobin in red blood cells, it participates in transporting oxygen from the lungs to all tissues and organs in the body.
Iron is important for the proper functioning of the immune and nervous systems, as well as for normal cognitive function. It contributes to maintaining energy metabolism—meaning the production of energy. In states of iron deficiency, the first symptoms that usually appear include fatigue, lack of energy, and difficulty concentrating. The most common causes of iron deficiency in the body are blood loss, inadequate diet, pregnancy, chronic diseases, gastrointestinal disorders that affect nutrient absorption, intense physical activity, and the use of certain medications. Older adults are at a higher risk of iron deficiency.
Endosomal iron provides high bioavailability and excellent tolerability without nausea, stomach pain, or constipation.
The biologically active form of folic acid and vitamin B₁₂ contribute to the formation of red blood cells, the body’s energy production, and the reduction of fatigue.
FERIFOLIK® Forte capsules are recommended for:
- Individuals with anemia and folate or vitamin B₁₂ deficiency
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women (for the prevention and correction of iron, folate, and vitamin B₁₂ deficiency)
- Women of reproductive age, especially those with heavy and/or prolonged menstrual bleeding
- People following vegetarian or vegan diets
- Adolescents during periods of rapid growth and increased metabolic activity, due to higher folate requirements
- Athletes, especially during endurance training (iron deficiency in athletes leads to quicker fatigue, reduced endurance, and slower recovery after training)
Directions for use:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 capsule daily.
The capsule should be swallowed whole with water, regardless of meals.
The duration of FERIFOLIK® Forte capsule use depends on the severity of the anemia. After hemoglobin levels return to normal, it is necessary to continue taking FERIFOLIK® Forte until iron stores are replenished.
